　　【原班人马回归续集】
　　两年之后，这群蓝色的小人卷土重来，在几乎是原班人马的再次打造下，再度来到人类世界里冒险。对于这部电影，影片的导演拉加·高斯内尔坦言，拍摄续集很有压力。他说：“要给《蓝精灵》拍摄续集，本身是计划之中的事情，但是真正开始筹拍和拍摄的时候，我还是感觉到了巨大的压力。原因很简单，因为有上一部那么受欢迎的电影，这部续集自然需要接受观众们的检阅。所以，我们换了编剧，在故事的维度、出场人物的数量和人类城市以及故事的惊险程度上花费了很多的功夫和时间。不过，好在我非常幸运，我和一大帮子很出色的人在一起工作。在这部电影中，我们会把故事的主线放在格格巫所创造的淘气精灵和蓝精灵的故事之上，故事里人类的身影会更少，故事会更加纯粹和惊险。其实，这是一种调节的手段。因为，如果故事一直被放在蓝精灵的世界里，影片就不会这么好玩，但如果人类世界的元素过多的话，这部电影就会变成一部平淡无奇的冒险片。所以，如何协调好人类元素和蓝精灵元素，是创作剧本的重中之重。”
